Rules built to protect
the roleplay.
Fair play, meaningful scenes, a protected economy and respect for every person behind the character.
CATEGORIES
Use the search or open a category below. Staff may act against behaviour that damages roleplay even when a technicality is not written word-for-word.
Try searching for a different word or phrase.
01Introduction+
UndergroundRP is a serious, economy-focused FiveM roleplay server. Every action should contribute to an enjoyable, realistic and fair roleplay environment.
By joining UndergroundRP, you agree to follow these rules at all times. Claiming that you did not know a rule will not excuse a rule break.
These rules cannot cover every possible situation. Staff members may use their judgement when dealing with behaviour that damages roleplay, the economy or the community.
Server announcements, rule updates and direct staff instructions may temporarily override parts of this document.
02Community Conduct+
2.1Respect Other Players
All members must treat each other with respect.
The following behaviour is prohibited:
- Bullying or targeted harassment.
- Racism, sexism, homophobia or discriminatory behaviour.
- Threatening another player outside of roleplay.
- Deliberately provoking arguments.
- Encouraging self-harm.
- Sharing another person’s private information.
- Using offensive character names, clothing or vehicle designs.
- Following players between communities to continue an argument.
- Harassing someone through Discord, direct messages or other platforms.
Roleplay conflict must remain in character. Do not turn an in-game situation into an out-of-character argument.
2.2Toxic Behaviour
Toxic behaviour includes repeatedly trying to upset, annoy or embarrass other players.
Examples include:
- Constantly insulting someone after a scene has ended.
- Laughing at or mocking inexperienced players.
- Deliberately creating situations to make another player angry.
- Repeatedly targeting the same player without valid roleplay.
- Starting drama in public Discord channels.
- Publicly attacking staff members over a decision.
Disagreements should be handled calmly through the correct support or report system.
2.3Offensive and Sexual Content
Sexual harassment, forced sexual roleplay and non-consensual sexual content are strictly prohibited.
Explicit sexual roleplay must not take place in public areas or involve players who have not clearly agreed to participate.
Any roleplay involving minors, sexual violence or predatory behaviour is strictly prohibited.
2.4Real-World Threats
Real-world threats, doxxing, swatting or attempts to intimidate another community member will result in severe punishment and may lead to a permanent ban.
03Account and Character Rules+
3.1Account Responsibility
You are responsible for everything that happens through your account.
Do not:
- Share your account.
- Allow another person to play on your account.
- Sell or trade your account.
- Use another player’s account.
- Avoid punishment by creating another account.
- Use multiple accounts to gain money, items or advantages.
3.2Character Names
Character names must be realistic and appropriate for the server.
The following are not allowed:
- Celebrity names.
- Joke names.
- Meme names.
- Offensive names.
- Famous fictional character names.
- Names designed to impersonate another player.
- Names containing ranks or titles that your character has not earned.
Staff may require a character name to be changed.
3.3Character Separation
Each character must be treated as a separate person.
Your characters cannot:
- Know information learned by another character.
- Share money, vehicles, properties or items without genuine roleplay.
- Be members of the same gang to provide additional storage.
- Help each other avoid debts or consequences.
- Use one character to benefit another.
- Be related solely to transfer wealth or information.
Information must remain with the character who learned it.
3.4Character Story
Your character should have a reasonable identity, personality and background.
Your character does not need a detailed written biography, but you should understand:
- Who your character is.
- What their goals are.
- How they normally behave.
- What type of work they do.
- Why they are involved in certain activities.
Do not constantly change your character’s personality to win situations.
04Roleplay Standards+
4.1Stay in Character
You must remain in character while actively playing.
Do not discuss the following during roleplay:
- Server rules.
- Staff reports.
- Scripts or resources.
- Bugs.
- Discord conversations.
- Player IDs.
- Keybinds.
- Tickets.
- Being banned or warned.
- “The city”, when clearly referring to restarting or leaving the server in an out-of-character way.
Where possible, use roleplay-friendly language.
Examples:
- “My head is hurting” instead of “I am lagging.”
- “I need to take a train” instead of “I am logging off.”
- “My eyes are blurry” instead of “My textures are broken.”
Do not excessively force unrealistic phrases. Clear communication is more important during technical emergencies.
4.2Breaking Character
Breaking character is only acceptable when:
- A staff member instructs you to.
- A serious technical issue prevents the scene from continuing.
- Someone’s real-world safety is at risk.
Small issues should be ignored until the scene is complete.
4.3Quality Roleplay
Players are expected to provide meaningful interaction before using violence, restraints or other major actions.
You should:
- Communicate clearly.
- Give other players time to respond.
- React realistically to danger.
- Allow scenes to develop.
- Accept reasonable losses.
- Create roleplay for both sides.
Winning should never be more important than the quality of the scene.
4.4Low-Effort Roleplay
Low-effort roleplay may include:
- Robbing someone without meaningful interaction.
- Constantly committing crimes with no character reasoning.
- Refusing to speak during scenes.
- Using the same repeated dialogue in every situation.
- Treating every interaction as an opportunity to fight.
- Ignoring injuries.
- Driving away from every minor interaction.
- Refusing to cooperate with basic roleplay.
Repeated low-effort roleplay may result in staff action.
05Roleplay Terminology+
5.1Metagaming
Metagaming is using information your character did not obtain through roleplay.
Examples include:
- Watching a livestream to find another player.
- Using Discord messages to locate someone.
- Recognising a masked player solely by their voice.
- Using information learned on another character.
- Reading a player’s name above their head and acting as if your character knows them.
- Using another player’s screen share during an active situation.
- Calling friends through Discord while your phone or radio has been taken.
- Using information from a staff report in roleplay.
Information may only be used when your current character has learned it legitimately.
5.2Powergaming
Powergaming is forcing an action on another player or using unrealistic methods to gain an advantage.
Examples include:
- Using `/me` to force an outcome.
- Escaping restraints without a valid method.
- Carrying unrealistic quantities of items.
- Using animations to enter inaccessible locations.
- Exploiting third-person camera angles to see through walls.
- Refusing to allow another player to respond.
- Using game mechanics in an unrealistic way.
- Continuing to run normally after suffering serious injuries.
A `/me` command describes an action or visible detail. It does not guarantee success.
5.3Random Deathmatch
Random Deathmatch, commonly called RDM, is attacking or killing another player without sufficient roleplay or a valid reason.
A disagreement does not automatically justify immediate deadly force.
5.4Vehicle Deathmatch
Vehicle Deathmatch, commonly called VDM, is intentionally using a vehicle as a weapon without a valid roleplay reason.
Vehicles should not be used to repeatedly ram players or deliberately kill people.
Accidental collisions will be judged based on the circumstances.
5.5Fail Roleplay
Fail Roleplay is behaviour that is unrealistic, unreasonable or damaging to the scene.
Examples include:
- Ignoring serious injuries.
- Jumping from a large height and continuing normally.
- Driving a destroyed vehicle.
- Treating police chases like an arcade game.
- Crashing vehicles without reacting.
- Using sports cars off-road at full speed.
- Entering an active shootout for no reason.
- Stealing emergency vehicles without a strong roleplay reason.
- Using unrealistic clothing or equipment during serious scenes.
5.6Fear Roleplay and Value of Life
Your character must value their life.
You must show reasonable fear when:
- A weapon is pointed directly at you.
- You are surrounded or heavily outnumbered.
- You are seriously injured.
- You are trapped with no realistic escape.
- Your life is clearly under immediate threat.
You may attempt an escape when a reasonable opportunity exists, but you cannot ignore an obvious threat solely because you believe you can win.
5.7New Life Rule
After your character is fully incapacitated and respawns, they may not remember the exact details surrounding their death.
You must not:
- Immediately return to the scene.
- Seek revenge against those involved.
- Recover items using information from before your death.
- Contact friends to continue the same conflict.
- Return on another character.
Being treated and revived by medical personnel does not automatically erase all memory. However, you must roleplay your injuries appropriately.
5.8Revenge Killing
You may not hunt down or attack another player solely because they killed or defeated you in a previous situation.
New conflict must develop through fresh roleplay.
5.9Combat Logging
Combat logging is leaving the server to avoid a roleplay situation or its consequences.
This includes leaving while:
- Being chased.
- Under arrest.
- Injured.
- Being robbed.
- In a shootout.
- Being questioned.
- Transporting illegal goods.
- Being searched.
- Owing money during an active scene.
After a crash or disconnect, you must make a reasonable effort to return.
5.10Exploiting
Exploiting bugs, glitches or unintended game mechanics is prohibited.
This includes:
- Duplicating money or items.
- Entering locked locations through glitches.
- Abusing inventory systems.
- Using animation exploits.
- Avoiding damage through bugs.
- Repeatedly farming a broken job.
- Using vehicle handling bugs.
- Exploiting menus during an active situation.
- Transferring assets before a punishment or character wipe.
Serious exploits must be reported privately to staff.
06Communication Rules+
6.1Voice Communication
A working and understandable microphone is required for normal roleplay.
Do not:
- Use voice changers that make you impossible to understand.
- Constantly shout into your microphone.
- Play music through your microphone without a valid reason.
- Use soundboards to disrupt scenes.
- Create excessive background noise.
- Spam voice chat.
- Use voice activation when it causes constant noise.
6.2External Communication
External communication cannot be used to gain an in-game advantage.
You may remain in a Discord call socially, but you must not share active roleplay information.
When your character’s phone or radio is removed, you must stop using external communication for that scene.
6.3Music
Music must be played at a reasonable volume and only in suitable locations.
Immediately lower or stop music when requested by:
- Police.
- Business management.
- Property owners.
- Event organisers.
- Staff members.
07Injuries and Medical Roleplay+
7.1Roleplaying Injuries
You must react appropriately to injuries.
Examples include:
- Limping after being shot in the leg.
- Avoiding heavy movement after a serious collision.
- Speaking with difficulty after severe injuries.
- Remaining on the ground when badly wounded.
- Seeking medical treatment after major incidents.
Do not immediately return to normal activities after receiving treatment for life-threatening injuries.
7.2Downed Players
A downed player cannot:
- Provide detailed information.
- Use their phone or radio normally.
- Move items.
- Give weapons to another person.
- Identify suspects clearly.
- Continue directing a scene.
- Use emotes to move significant distances.
Limited injured speech is allowed when supported by the server’s systems and the situation.
7.3Medical Personnel
Medical personnel should remain neutral while performing their duties.
Players must not force medical personnel to revive someone during an active and unsafe scene.
Medical staff may wait until police or the involved parties confirm that the area is safe.
7.4Respawning
Do not respawn while an active scene is still taking place unless:
- No medical help is available.
- The required waiting period has passed.
- Staff instruct you to respawn.
- The server system allows and expects you to do so.
Respawning to avoid police, robbery or medical roleplay is prohibited.
08Vehicle Rules+
8.1Realistic Driving
Vehicles must be driven in a manner appropriate to their type and the situation.
Normal civilian driving should follow reasonable road behaviour.
Repeatedly driving at extreme speeds, crashing through traffic or ignoring every collision may be treated as Fail Roleplay.
8.2Vehicle Capabilities
Respect the limitations of your vehicle.
Examples:
- Supercars should not climb mountains.
- Low vehicles should not travel across rough terrain at full speed.
- Standard cars should not survive repeated major collisions.
- Motorcycles should not continue normally after severe crashes.
- Damaged tyres and engines must affect how you drive.
8.3Vehicle Ramming
Intentional ramming is only allowed when it makes sense within the scene.
Repeated high-speed ramming, especially with no concern for your character’s safety, is prohibited.
Police tactical vehicle contact must be reasonable and proportionate.
8.4Aircraft
Aircraft must be operated realistically.
Do not:
- Land on unsuitable roads without an emergency.
- Fly dangerously low over populated areas.
- Use aircraft to intentionally kill players.
- Abandon aircraft in unrealistic locations.
- Use helicopters to hover directly over active scenes without a valid reason.
8.5Emergency Vehicles
Emergency vehicles may only be stolen when supported by strong roleplay.
Do not steal an emergency vehicle simply because it is unlocked.
Police, fire and medical vehicles must not be used for personal transport.
8.6Vehicle Theft
Vehicle theft requires reasonable interaction or opportunity.
Do not repeatedly steal vehicles with no roleplay purpose.
Players should not use unrealistic methods to instantly access every locked vehicle.
09Crime Rules+
9.1Criminal Roleplay
Crime should create enjoyable roleplay rather than simply generate profit.
Criminal characters should:
- Plan their actions.
- Communicate with others.
- Consider risks and consequences.
- Avoid repeating the same crime continuously.
- Give victims meaningful interaction.
- Develop motives and connections.
9.2Initiation
Clear initiation is required before attacking another player.
The other player must have a reasonable opportunity to:
- Hear the demand.
- Understand the threat.
- Respond.
- Comply where possible.
Initiation must be clear and directed at the intended person or group.
9.3Use of Deadly Force
Deadly force should be a final option.
It may be reasonable when:
- Someone presents an immediate threat to life.
- A hostage’s life is in immediate danger.
- A violent conflict has already been clearly established.
- A person refuses a clear demand while under an immediate threat.
Minor insults, traffic accidents or simple disagreements do not justify murder.
9.4Robbing Players
Player robberies must include meaningful roleplay.
Do not:
- Rob visibly new players.
- Force someone to withdraw money from a bank.
- Force someone to transfer ownership of a vehicle or property.
- Empty every item from someone without reason.
- Repeatedly target the same player.
- Camp common locations solely to rob people.
- Kill a fully compliant victim without a strong reason.
- Rob emergency workers solely for their job equipment.
Only take items that make sense for the situation.
9.5Kidnapping
Kidnapping must have a roleplay purpose.
Do not:
- Hold someone for an excessive period.
- Kidnap the same person repeatedly.
- Kidnap someone solely because you are bored.
- Leave a player with no interaction.
- Force a player into offensive or uncomfortable roleplay.
- Demand impossible or unreasonable actions.
Victims must be given roleplay throughout the situation.
9.6Hostages
A hostage must be a genuine player who has been brought into the situation through roleplay.
You may not:
- Use a friend as a fake hostage.
- Pay someone to pretend to be a hostage solely to bypass robbery requirements.
- Use an alternate character as a hostage.
- Reuse the same hostage repeatedly.
- Use local NPCs as player hostages unless the server system specifically allows it.
Hostage demands must be reasonable. Police are not required to accept every demand.
9.7Robbery Negotiations
Negotiations must be conducted in good faith.
Criminals and police should provide both sides with an opportunity to communicate.
Unreasonable demands may be refused.
Examples of potentially reasonable demands include:
- Safe passage.
- Limited pursuit conditions.
- Removal of certain police equipment.
- A short period before police begin following.
- Food or medical assistance.
Demands for large amounts of money, free vehicles, released prisoners or impossible police actions may be denied.
9.8Robbery Systems
Players must follow all restrictions built into the robbery system, including:
- Required police presence.
- Cooldowns.
- Group limits.
- Required items.
- Location restrictions.
- Server-wide event restrictions.
Attempting to bypass these restrictions is exploitation.
9.9Crime Group Limits
Criminal situations must remain within any announced group limits.
Players cannot join an active situation after it has started unless they were already directly involved.
You may not create multiple groups that secretly work together to bypass a player limit.
9.10Third-Party Interference
Do not interfere in an active crime, police chase, shootout or robbery unless your character has a direct and established reason to be involved.
Hearing gunshots does not automatically give you permission to join.
9.11Criminal Cooldowns
After a major criminal situation, players should allow time for the server and emergency services to recover.
Do not move directly from one major robbery to another simply to maximise profit.
Any official cooldown announced by staff or controlled by the server must be followed.
9.12Scamming
In-character scams may be allowed when they create reasonable roleplay, but they must not involve:
- Real-world money.
- Donator benefits.
- Account ownership.
- Exploiting game systems.
- Newly joined players.
- Extremely high-value assets without staff approval.
- Misrepresenting a staff instruction.
- Breaking agreed server-supported contracts.
Staff may reverse scams that are considered abusive or harmful to the economy.
10Gang and Organisation Rules+
10.1Gang Roleplay
Gangs and criminal organisations must focus on story development, territory, relationships and long-term roleplay.
A gang should not exist solely to:
- Start shootouts.
- Rob every player.
- control the server through intimidation.
- Harass civilian players.
- Farm illegal activities.
- Target emergency services continuously.
10.2Gang Identification
Gang members should have believable ways of identifying each other.
You cannot automatically identify someone as a rival solely because of clothing colour.
Masks, clothing, vehicles, tattoos and behaviour may contribute to identification, but certainty should be supported by roleplay.
10.3Gang Conflict
Gang wars require clear development and escalation.
Before deadly conflict, there should normally be:
- Previous interactions.
- Clear disagreements.
- Warnings or threats.
- Attempts at negotiation.
- A known reason for the conflict.
One insult should not create an immediate war.
10.4Territory
No group permanently owns a public area unless a recognised server system or staff-approved storyline supports it.
Groups may roleplay influence over an area, but they cannot prevent all other players from entering public locations without interaction.
10.5Gang Alliances
Alliances cannot be used to bypass group limits.
Separate gangs cannot act as one large group during criminal situations unless a staff-approved event allows it.
10.6Leaving a Gang
Gang members may leave through roleplay.
A gang cannot force a player to permanently delete their character.
Any permanent character death must follow the server’s character death rules.
11Police Roleplay Rules+
11.1Police Conduct
Police officers are expected to maintain a high standard of roleplay.
Officers must:
- Act professionally.
- Use reasonable force.
- Follow department policies.
- Provide suspects with roleplay.
- Avoid unnecessary escalation.
- Respect civilians.
- Properly handle evidence.
- Report misconduct through the correct channels.
11.2Use of Force
Police force must be proportionate to the threat.
Officers should not use deadly force simply because:
- A suspect is running.
- A vehicle is failing to stop.
- A suspect is verbally disrespectful.
- A person is suspected of a minor crime.
- A vehicle has lightly struck a police car.
Deadly force may be used when there is an immediate threat of death or serious injury.
11.3Police Chases
Police and suspects must drive realistically during pursuits.
Officers should consider:
- Public safety.
- Traffic conditions.
- The seriousness of the offence.
- Vehicle capabilities.
- The risk caused by continuing the pursuit.
Suspects must also value their lives and cannot repeatedly cause major collisions without consequences.
11.4Arrest Roleplay
Officers must explain charges where reasonably possible.
Suspects must be given an opportunity to:
- Speak.
- Understand the allegations.
- Request legal representation where available.
- Participate in processing roleplay.
Suspects may be uncooperative in character, but they cannot use this to completely prevent a scene from progressing.
11.5Police Equipment
Police equipment must only be used for official duties.
Officers may not:
- Give police equipment to civilians.
- Store department equipment for criminal characters.
- Sell police weapons or items.
- Use restricted databases for personal reasons.
- Share confidential information without authorisation.
11.6Police Corruption
Police corruption is prohibited unless specifically approved by server management.
Unauthorised corruption includes:
- Selling evidence.
- Giving criminals police equipment.
- Removing charges for friends.
- Sharing confidential police information.
- Helping criminals escape.
- Taking bribes.
- Using police powers for personal gain.
Small character flaws do not automatically count as corruption, but serious misconduct requires approval.
11.7Emergency Scene Interference
Civilians must not interfere with police scenes without a genuine roleplay reason.
Do not:
- Circle scenes repeatedly.
- Shout over officers.
- Block emergency vehicles.
- Enter restricted areas.
- Attempt to bait police into a chase.
- Steal vehicles from an active police scene without strong roleplay.
12Medical and Emergency Service Rules+
12.1Medical Neutrality
Medical personnel should not take sides during criminal conflicts while performing official duties.
They may protect themselves and withdraw from unsafe scenes.
12.2Medical Equipment
Medical equipment and vehicles must only be used for official purposes.
Medical staff may not distribute restricted supplies to friends or criminal groups.
12.3Emergency Service Corruption
Corruption involving medical or other government services requires prior approval from server management.
12.4Attacking Emergency Workers
Emergency workers may be attacked or kidnapped only when there is a strong and developed roleplay reason.
They may not be targeted solely because of their job.
Repeatedly targeting emergency services may result in staff action.
13Legal Business Rules+
13.1Business Ownership
Business owners are responsible for their business, employees and company finances.
Owners must:
- Operate the business actively.
- Provide roleplay to customers and staff.
- Train new employees.
- Maintain reasonable records.
- Avoid abusing company funds.
- Follow government licensing requirements.
- Follow employment and business laws established in roleplay.
13.2Employee Conduct
Employees must follow the lawful instructions of business management.
Business equipment, stock and money cannot be stolen or transferred without roleplay consequences.
13.3Business Activity
Businesses must not exist solely to generate passive income.
Owners should make reasonable efforts to:
- Open the business.
- Advertise.
- Hire employees.
- Host events.
- Serve customers.
- Create roleplay opportunities.
Inactive businesses may be reclaimed by the government or server management.
13.4Business Funds
Company funds must be used for legitimate business purposes.
Business accounts cannot be treated as personal bank accounts.
Owners may pay themselves reasonable wages or distributions, but they must not empty the company account before selling, closing or abandoning the business.
13.5Business Prices
Businesses may set their own prices unless limited by government regulations or server systems.
Prices should remain reasonable and must not be used to exploit new players or transfer large amounts of money.
13.6Business Transfers
Selling or transferring a business must follow the official server process.
Businesses, vehicles, properties or money cannot be sold for real-world currency.
13.7Government Intervention
The government or server management may intervene where a business:
- Breaks the law.
- Becomes inactive.
- Damages the economy.
- Abuses employees.
- Misuses public funding.
- Violates licensing rules.
- Is being used to transfer or hide money.
14Economy Rules+
14.1Economy Protection
UndergroundRP operates a controlled roleplay economy.
Players must not intentionally damage the economy through:
- Exploits.
- Duplication.
- Artificial price manipulation.
- Account farming.
- Character farming.
- Unreasonable asset transfers.
- Real-money trading.
- Coordinated abuse of job payouts.
- Hoarding items due to a known bug.
14.2Asset Transfers
Large transfers of money, vehicles, items, properties or business assets must have a genuine roleplay reason.
Staff may investigate or reverse suspicious transfers.
14.3Gifts
Reasonable gifts are allowed.
However, established players should not give new players large amounts of money, expensive vehicles or major assets. This removes progression and may damage the economy.
14.4Loans
Player-created loans are completed at the players’ own risk unless supported by an official contract system.
Scamming through loans may still be reviewed when it is clearly abusive or breaks another rule.
14.5Real-Money Trading
Buying or selling in-game assets for real-world money is strictly prohibited.
This includes:
- Vehicles.
- Properties.
- Businesses.
- Weapons.
- Items.
- Currency.
- Gang positions.
- Police ranks.
- Character access.
- Accounts.
Only official server store purchases are permitted.
14.6Job Farming
Players may not repeatedly complete a job in an unintended or unrealistic way solely to maximise income.
Examples include:
- Using multiple characters to bypass cooldowns.
- Coordinating fake transactions.
- Repeatedly selling items between friends.
- Using macros or automation.
- Farming while not actively playing.
- Exploiting broken payout values.
15Property Rules+
15.1Property Ownership
Properties must be obtained through the official server systems.
Players may not claim public buildings, inaccessible interiors or map locations as permanent private property without approval.
15.2Property Access
Entering another player’s private property requires:
- Permission.
- A valid key.
- A police warrant.
- A supported burglary system.
- A staff-approved event.
Using glitches to enter a property is prohibited.
15.3Property Storage
Properties cannot be used to:
- Store duplicated items.
- Hide exploited assets.
- Transfer wealth between characters.
- Avoid an active police search through logging out.
- Store unrealistic quantities through bugs.
15.4Inactive Property
Long-term inactive properties may be reclaimed according to the server’s inactivity policy.
16Weapons Rules+
16.1Weapon Escalation
Weapons should be used according to the seriousness of the situation.
Do not immediately draw a firearm during:
- Minor arguments.
- Traffic disputes.
- Accidental collisions.
- Verbal insults.
- Small unpaid debts.
Escalation should be gradual where possible.
16.2Firearm Roleplay
Firearms must be treated as dangerous and serious.
Players should consider:
- Witnesses.
- Police response.
- Evidence.
- Injuries.
- Legal consequences.
- Risk to bystanders.
Firing a weapon in a populated area should have serious consequences.
16.3Weapon Transfers
Weapons cannot be transferred between characters to avoid legal consequences or bypass progression.
Government-issued weapons cannot be sold or given away.
16.4Shooting from Vehicles
Shooting from moving vehicles should be rare and must be supported by the situation.
Repeatedly circling an area while shooting from a vehicle may be considered low-quality or unrealistic roleplay.
17Masks and Identification+
Wearing a mask does not make your character completely unrecognisable.
Players may use reasonable details to form suspicion, including:
- Clothing.
- Tattoos.
- Vehicle.
- Accent.
- Behaviour.
- Previous interactions.
- Visible injuries.
- Unique equipment.
However, a voice alone should not normally provide certain identification when someone is fully masked and deliberately disguising themselves.
Players should avoid instantly recognising someone with no supporting evidence.
18Server Restarts+
18.1Restart Roleplay
Server restarts do not automatically end active roleplay.
Players should avoid beginning major criminal situations immediately before a scheduled restart.
18.2Restart Exploitation
Do not use a restart to:
- Escape police.
- Save a vehicle.
- Avoid losing items.
- Duplicate assets.
- Cancel an arrest.
- End a robbery.
- Avoid medical roleplay.
Where possible, involved players should return after the restart and continue the scene.
19Events+
Official events may temporarily introduce special rules.
Event organisers or staff members must clearly explain any changes before the event begins.
Players must follow:
- Event boundaries.
- Team restrictions.
- Weapon restrictions.
- Vehicle restrictions.
- Respawn rules.
- Instructions from event staff.
Normal server rules still apply unless specifically changed.
20Streaming and Content Creation+
Players are welcome to stream and record UndergroundRP.
Content creators must:
- Follow all server rules.
- Protect private staff information.
- Avoid using their audience against another player.
- Avoid encouraging viewers to harass community members.
- Hide confidential information where required.
- Use an appropriate stream delay when necessary.
Stream sniping is strictly prohibited.
Being live does not provide immunity from staff action.
21Reporting Players+
21.1During a Scene
Do not stop an active scene to argue about a possible rule break.
Unless the issue is severe, complete the scene and report it afterwards.
Continue roleplaying even when you believe another player has broken a rule.
21.2Evidence
Useful evidence may include:
- Video recordings.
- Screenshots.
- Relevant timestamps.
- Player names.
- Character names.
- A clear explanation of what happened.
Evidence must not be edited in a misleading way.
21.3False Reports
Submitting deliberately false reports, hiding your own involvement or editing evidence to mislead staff may result in punishment.
Reports should not be used as a weapon against players you dislike.
22Staff Interactions+
22.1Staff Instructions
Players must follow reasonable instructions given by staff members.
Staff members may pause, reset or end a scene when necessary.
22.2Staff Situations
When a staff member enters a situation:
- Remain calm.
- Speak one at a time.
- Tell the truth.
- Do not shout over others.
- Do not leave unless permitted.
- Provide evidence when requested.
22.3Staff Disrespect
Players may disagree with staff decisions, but abusive or disruptive behaviour is not acceptable.
Concerns should be raised through the correct appeal or complaint process.
22.4Impersonating Staff
Pretending to be a staff member or claiming that staff approved something when they did not is strictly prohibited.
22.5Staff Abuse
Staff members are also required to follow server rules.
Suspected staff abuse should be reported privately to senior management with evidence.
23Punishments+
Punishments depend on:
- The severity of the rule break.
- Previous warnings.
- Intent.
- Cooperation.
- Damage caused.
- Whether the player reported the issue themselves.
- Whether the behaviour is repeated.
Possible punishments include:
- Verbal warning.
- Documented warning.
- Removal from a roleplay scene.
- Item or money removal.
- Vehicle or property removal.
- Job or business removal.
- Character wipe.
- Temporary ban.
- Permanent ban.
- Community blacklist.
Staff are not required to follow every punishment stage in order. Severe violations may result in an immediate permanent ban.
24Ban Evasion+
Attempting to avoid a punishment through another account, platform or identity is prohibited.
Ban evasion will normally result in the new account being permanently banned and may remove the opportunity to appeal.
25Appeals+
Players may appeal eligible punishments through the official appeal system.
Appeals should:
- Be honest.
- Take responsibility where appropriate.
- Explain what happened.

- Explain how future behaviour will improve.
Submitting repeated appeals after a final decision may result in appeal access being removed.
26Zero-Tolerance Violations+
The following may result in an immediate permanent ban:
- Doxxing.
- Real-world threats.
- Ban evasion.
- Serious exploitation.
- Duplication.
- Real-money trading.
- Malicious cheating.
- Distributing cheats.
- Deliberately crashing the server.
- Extreme harassment.
- Sexual roleplay involving minors.
- Predatory behaviour.
- Sharing private or confidential information.

27Final Rule+
Use common sense.
Not every harmful action will be specifically written in this rulebook. Behaviour designed to exploit a technicality, ruin roleplay or gain an unfair advantage may still result in punishment.
Ask yourself:
- Is this realistic?
- Does this create roleplay?
- Is this fair to everyone involved?
- Am I valuing my character’s life?
- Would I consider this enjoyable if I were on the other side?
UndergroundRP is a shared roleplay environment. Every player is responsible for helping create believable stories, meaningful progression and enjoyable experiences.
